So a lot of things have changed from when I first started publishing back 5 – 6 years ago.
In fact, I would say the number one thing that is different is the level of competition.
A lot of people have awoken to the idea of self publishing to generate some extra income.
However, many of these new authors don’t really stick with the program and give up within 1 – 3 months.

So while the level of competition is higher than it was a few years ago, I would say the quality of the competition hasn’t changed much (maybe it declined a little).
